How to Prepare for TOEFL

1.Reading

Questions :36 – 56 Questions
Task :Read 3 or 4 passages from academic texts and answer questions
Time Allowed :60-80 Minutes

2.Listening

Questions :34 – 51 Questions
Task :Listen to lectures, classroom discussions and conversations, then answer questions
Time Allowed :60-90 Minutes

Break : 10 Minutes
Speaking

Questions :6 Tasks
Task :Express an opinion on a familiar topic; speak based on Reading and Listening tasks
Time Allowed :20 Minutes

Writing

Questions :2 Tasks
Task :Write essay responses based on Reading and Listening tasks; support an opinion in writing
Time Allowed :50 Minutes

TOEFL Score Scale :

Each of the four TOEFL sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing) are scored out of 30. The overall TOEFL score will range from 0 -120 and is calculated by combining the TOEFL scores on each of the four sections as mentioned below.
